Just to let you know that the NHS England deadline for SNOMED clinical terminology is 1st April 2021. It advises the mandatory use of SNOMED CT codes for all charted patient treatment.

SNOMED is an international system of codification of finding, symptoms, diagnoses, procedures and more. In order to comply with this new regulation, each practice should assign a SNOMED code to each of the appropriate Dentally treatments.

If you wish to use this feature within Dentally, you can do this in your Settings where you can enable and assign the SNOMED code to your treatments, ready to be submitted as part of your claims once NHSBSA have made this functionality available via the EDI submissions process.

If you would like further advice as to how to start using this setting in Dentally, then please do speak to our Support team help@dentally.co or you take a look at the online support document here.
