Dentally is delighted to introduce NHS FP17 PR forms to the Patient Portal.  All of your NHS admin can now be completed by your patients prior to their arrival at the practice for their appointment.

Blue2Your patients can manage their own journey through the admin processes with Dentally's Patient Portal, reducing the time they spend with non-clinical staff, and, after logging in securely, puts them in control of:

  • updating their medical history

  • reviewing and signing treatment plans and consent forms

  • downloading invoices

  • updating contact information

  • paying deposits and outstanding balances

The new addition of the FP17 PR forms to the Patient Portal completes the online, contactless experience.

Our figures show that 47% of all practice forms are completed outside of the dental practice’s usual opening hours and often during the weekend.  So providing a complete digital experience for patients can transform the way you manage your practice, saving time on manual admin and developing a strong connection at each stage of the practice touch-points for your patient.

How does it work?

PR formIt's so easy, you don't have to do anything, Dentally's Patient Portal sets it up for you automatically as long as certain criteria are identified.

Exclusively available online via the Patient Portal, patients can access, read and sign the digital NHS PR form on whatever device they prefer - mobile, tablet or computer.

NHS patients using the electronic NHS patient declaration form, reduce the need for paper admin when the patient arrives at the practice at their allocated appointment time and encourage social distancing with your reception team.

The form is simple to complete and sign, and if a person needs to sign on behalf of a patient -  for example as a parent -  then they can easily do that too.  Once the form has been submitted, it will appear in the patient’s correspondence tab in Dentally.

If you would like to start using this new feature, it is simple to set up and enable the NHS PR Form setting from within your Patient Portal admin dashboard.
