White Sands Dental Gympie are a family, cosmetic and emergency dentist aiming to provide patients with the most stress-free appointment experience possible. To achieve this, the team implemented Dentally after searching for a cloud-based software.  

What made you consider changing your practice management software?

Online booking was one of those key aspects we were really wanting from a software. And it's one of the main reasons we actually went with Dentally initially.

It's been a very good flow for patients and we've seen a huge improvement in patient numbers due to that as well.

Most people are completing the tasks actually beforehand alleviating a lot of practice wasted time in scanning and uploading and filling out forms, even from when the patient walks through the door.

How did you find the transition to a new system?

I was a little bit resistant on some of the changes, if I'm honest with you, of moving completely from a paper based and uploading to the software to actually a complete digital system.

However, I have taken on board and I've got to say in the last few months, generally it's actually working very, very well.

What are the key benefits you’ve seen?

One of the key qualities we've noticed is over the years it's actually improved and each aspect they've been very open to take on feedback from the actual clinician or practice owner.

And actually we've seen things develop and improve since then.

Dentally also offer a lot of support. So from a training point of view, that aspect helps the day to day for the staff members.

Dentally seems to be very progressive and therefore it seems to be changing with times.

It will be a software for me for the future.
