"After two years of searching, I finally found dentally, and I haven't looked back."
My name's Wendy. I'm a general dentist working out of Box Hill in Victoria. My clinic is called WYP Dental and it's a family practice. My mum started the practice twenty five years ago, and I've been working here for the past ten years.
Why did you choose Dentally over other PMS systems?
A lot of our clientele are bilingual. Competitors out there were not able to customise our forms or our SMSs, for example, into different languages, but Dentally ticked that box immediately.
How was the onboarding and training process?
Changing practice management software is always daunting. It did take a bit of convincing to get everybody on board.
However, Dentally's onboarding system made everything as smooth as it could possibly be. We had a sandbox option so I could show all of our staff what the charting would look like, what the appointment scheduling and the invoicing was going to look like so everybody had an idea before we went live.
How did you find the transition to a new system as a server based practice (formerly OASiS)?
One of the main important aspects for me was to be able to access my important information remotely no matter where I was.
Also ensuring that we had peace of mind for data security without me having to organise my own server and have my own specific IT team was a huge plus for me.
How have your colleagues (clinical/admin) found using the software?
I have only had really good experience with all of the team here and it definitely has solved a lot of my pain points that I have endured over the years as well.
How did Dentally partner with you to assist with your toughest challenges/ current pain points in the industry?
Since working with the dentally team, we have seen some great improvements in our rebooking rate.
The number of patients we've been able to look after per month has also increased from the high four hundreds to the six hundreds per month.
We're seeing more patients with less stress and everyone is happier for it.
Would I recommend Dentally to my peers? The answer is a definite yes.
