Dentally supports NHS Practices by making tasks easy like submitting and resubmitting claims as well as reporting on UDA's and claim status. Easy-to-understand reporting on claims means that you can track your claims, ensuring that you never miss the claims window. By electronically submitting claims straight from the patient's dental records, we take the hassle out of claiming so you can focus on dental care.

Chart your NHS treatment within Dentally and tick it as complete. Then click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the treatment plan. Clicking this button creates the NHS claim form and starts the submission process.

To continue the process, complete or confirm the entries in each subsequent screen and click the 'Next' button. If the ‘Next’ button is not available, it means incomplete information on that screen is stopping you from moving on.

Dentally walks you through the submission process, adding validation every step of the way. This ensures that you are confident that you have the right information for a successful claim.

Changing an NHS Claim

At Dentally, we understand that mistakes can happen and sometimes details are missed resulting in the need to resubmit a claim. We delay NHS submissions for an hour so that you have time to amend any errors that you realise later. This small delay will save you time and frustration in the long run.

You may need to change information on a treatment plan. Dentally makes it easy to resubmit any NHS dentist claim that hasn’t been returned and completed.

Incomplete Claims Made Easy

When a patient fails to return for ongoing dental procedures you may find yourself in the situation of needing to submit an incomplete claim to ensure you still get paid for the work you have carried out.

We have made this simple, giving you an option to set up treatments specifically for this purpose. We have a step-by-step process to help you claim for work even though the patient has not received the full course of treatment.

NHS Claims Reports

As well as making it easy to submit NHS claims, Dentally’s reporting helps you track the progress and status of your claim. Our reports will help you ensure that your claim is successful and you are paid for the treatment you have provided.

Our three main NHS reports are:

  • UDA Forecast Report - track the status of claims still in the system so that you see those in danger of running out of time.

  • NHS Claims Report - track claims by claim state and practitioner so that you can see those claims which need your attention.

  • NHS UDAs Report - track claims submitted by status and band so that you can see practitioner claims by NHS contract.
