Dentally understands that each regions national health service has different requirements. That’s why NHS Scotland practice have a series of unique reports in Dentally, designed to make the patient and practice experience quicker and easier.

The Daybook Report

This report empowers you to take charge of your NHS income within a defined date range. So, why should you make the Daybook report a crucial part of your practice management?

Effortless Income Tracking

With the Daybook report, you gain a comprehensive overview of each practitioner's earnings, ensuring that you know who has earned what and precisely when it was earned.

Clear Breakdown of Treatment Fees

The Daybook report goes the extra mile by providing a clear breakdown of both private and NHS treatment fees and values, which can also be broken down by individual providers or locations for more detailed reporting

Thanks to Dentally's user-friendly interface, using the Daybook report is a breeze. Let’s take a look at the steps to running the report:

  • Access the reports icon - start by locating the reports icon on the left toolbar within Dentally.
  • Select the Daybook report - scroll down and choose the Daybook report from the available options.
  • Set your filters - customise your report by choosing the time frame you wish to review and selecting the specific practitioner you want to report on.
  • Live reporting - the report will refresh in real time based on the filters you set, providing you with the most up-to-date information at your fingertips.
  • Delve deeper - under your initial practitioner breakdown, you will see an NHS and Private breakdown of all the treatment items charted in that time frame and the total money they have bought into the practice.

 Prior Approvals

Dentally’s Prior Approvals report allows practitioners to keep track of claims submitted and monitor their progress, while validations help to smooth the process and keep the information flowing.

Use this report to see the status of each prior approval submitted, and the response, so that you can treat your patients most at need in a timely manner.

Ortho Submissions Report

At Dentally we understand the importance of keeping track of claims and prior approvals as they progress through the e-ortho system. Using the filters in the Ortho Submissions report, you can locate all your claims, or prior approvals, which will help you to plan the work needed for your patient’s best oral health.

Any updates to fees or exemption rules will happen automatically as and when the NHS introduce them – no more backups, restarts or downtime!

The Patients Report

This report allows you to segment a whole host of variations on your patient record data using multiple filters. It is completely customisable, so you can configure a view that you wish to use whether it’s:

  • Lapsed patients
  • New patients
  • Recalls
  • Patients who have had certain treatment types
  • Appointments
  • Patient accounts
  • Geographic details such as postcode catchment area

Once you have created the list of patients to fit your requirements, you can export them to a csv file, or you can easily bulk message them by letter, email or SMS (in line with the patient’s GDPR and correspondence preferences).
